It had been weeks since Kenji (as Omi) met Eve, and it was quite the alliance. It had been easier to get around Forsaken with the help of Eve's generosity and tips.
"So Omi...is that even your real name?" Eve asked as they were sitting hidden under the trees waiting for their HP to replenish.

Prologue
In the middle of two people was a table.
On one side was Robert Largon, a writer who needed a new story if he wanted to continue living a stable life.
On the other side was Jane Cruz, a prisoner who had just been living out her sentence in prison.
Robert was nervous. He had never been this close to a criminal, and he had heard some stories about the woman in front of him. He could feel the sweat on his palms, but he knew he had to do it. Either way, there was a guard just a door away who knew what he was facing.
"I was told you wanted to write about me." Jane said softly.
"Y-yes. I am writing a new story, and I thought that basing my new book on your life would be quite the piece." Dick replied, a little nervous.
"I see. Mister...Largon was it?"
"Y-yes?"
"Do you know that in the years I have been here, you have been my only visitor?"
"Yes...the guards found it surprising that I had wished to talk to you."
She chuckled. "I found it surprising myself. Anyway, it seems you deem my life interesting and I find that flattering really. For that I will agree to help you with your new book, but on one condition."
"Don't worry Ms. Cruz I will make sure you get credit for this." Dick started.
"Thank you, but no...acknowledging my involvement is not what am after. I only wish that in exchange for my life, you will tell me about yours."
Robert blinked in surprise. "There is nothing interesting about my life Ms. Cruz. I assure you."
She smiled sincerely at him. "Oh, I doubt that. When you've been here for as long as I have, you learn to realize how fascinating something others would usually find...mundane."
She tapped her slender fingers on the table. "Well?"
In Robert's mind, this was actually a great bargain. To be able to hear the life of this woman in exchange for something so simple as about his life...well, what else can you ask for?
"It's a deal Ms. Cruz. I will visit at least once a week to interview you, and after that...you may ask anything you want of me."
She nodded. "Thank you Mr. Largon."
Robert stood up from his seat and was about to turn to leave.
"Well Ms. Cruz, I believe I must go. I shall see you next week."
"I will be looking forward to our sessions Mr. Largon."
He walked out of the room and out in the hallway.
Jane leaned back on her chair, a smug smile on her face.

Prologue
He stared at the cover closely, a spark of interest in his blue eyes.
Kenji had always been a fan of video games, and today with his allowance he decided to treat himself with a new one. He had been hearing reviews about this latest online multiplayer game called "Forsaken", and now that he finally saved up enough he knew it was time.
He walked up to the counter and handed the game to the saleslady.
"I'll be taking this one this time." He said cheerfully.
The saleslady looked at the cover and smiled. "Nice choice. Take some breaks every now and then okay? I heard a lot of people get highly addicted to these kind of games. You know that story about those parents in Korea right?"
He nodded. "Don't worry. I don't think my brother would want me to go overtime. He'll confiscate my computer in a snap."
She smiled. "Good."
After she handed him the game-now paid for- Kenji walked briskly out the door towards home.
Today is going to be great! Kenji thought to himself.
-----
In a matter of minutes he was home. He went straight to his room without a word to anyone else in the house.
He placed the CD in his CPU and installed everything.
Kenji could feel the adrenaline rush; He always had this excitement when he had something new to do.
Once the game was installed, he entered the game.
On the screen flashed the following text:
"Welcome to the Forsaken, the land of the lost.
Take care as you enter here, for you could never go back.
Do you wish to continue?"
Of course, not taking the message seriously, Kenji clicked the "YES" button.
And just like that, he had entered the game.
----
Somewhere out there...
She checked the logs of all the users that had now joined the system.
Looking closer, she saw the name "Kenji Murasaki"
A smile crossed her face.

Author's Notes: I don't even remember how I started this story, or the NAMES of my old character. It's been that long it seems. I need to find those notebooks.
Comments? Suggestions? I need them.
I'll just keep writing until my ideas stop.
