Blood and Thunder: When Sam met Blair

Sam Holmes was 7 years old when he met 7-year old Blair Rivers. They were in the playground around in the afternoon, and for some reason not many kids were there that day.

She was in a light green spring dress and a wide-brimmed hat, most likely her mother's given it was really big for her. Blair was busy trying to catch a butterfly with a net in the park. Sam could see the glass jar by her feet. It had been 5 minutes and she wasn't doing so well at it.

Blood and Thunder: Thought of you

Emily Craft woke up from her dream, sighing. It was always the same.

She would see herself in a beautiful wedding gown that sparkled in the sunlight. She would walk down the aisle in a garden wedding on a lovely spring day. Everyone in their seats would look at her with awe, if not tear up a bit.

Her groom would wait at the end, smiling. She would smile back, even if she knew she did not want to marry this man. While she wanted to turn on her heel and run far away, her body would not allow her.

She would continue down the aisle, inches closer to her goal. Emily put up a smile to everyone she had made contact with on the way. It was a skill she learned to do over the years.

By the time she would reach the groom, she would hear a click.

She knew that sound was.

It was the safety trigger of a pistol.

Blood and Thunder: First love never dies

Matt had awoken in complete darkness, save the light directly above him. His hands were tied up tightly with rope and gagged with towels. He also smelled gasoline.

He tried to speak, but with the gag in place he could only manage to make muffled sounds. He yelled as hard as he could, but it seemed nobody was there.

Matt at this point was terrified, but he took deep breaths and tried to remember how he could have ended here.

Only one name had been in his thoughts at that moment.
